Australia’s capital Canberra is located within the state of New South Wales. It is sometimes known as the bush capital because of the bushland reserves which are classified as a natural park. The reserves go all the way to the city’s center and extends to more than half of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).  Canberra is rich with culture and history as many of the countries most important monuments are located in the ACT. Some of these include the Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, and the new National Museum of Australia.  Canberra is also 300 km from Sydney and 655 km from Melbourne, both of which are accessible by road, air, or train transport.

Wine lovers will definitely have a great time at Victoria as this state is known for its superb wineries and gourmet food. There’s also a lot of history in the state; most of the towns sprung up because of the mid-19th century gold rush. These towns became lively modern cities filled with art galleries, luxury hotels, and cosmopolitan restaurants.

Perth, Australia: a city to love.

Located at the Western edge of Australia, Perth is the fourth largest city in Australia. A lot of establishments are found in the area (including tall buildings) and different sight seeing zones are found in every corner. Due to the wondrous layout of the city, there is an available bus tour in Perth. You get to ride their open top double-decker bus that stops from time to time, wander around for an hour and ride again the bus to go to the next destination. New South Wales

New South Wales is a very diverse state that’s also home to the country’s most cosmopolitan city, Sydney. In the city there are five World Heritage sites that are worth checking out, including the Sydney Opera House. Surrounding the city is a myriad of national parks, mountains, forests, and ancient river valleys. World Heritage sites at the outskirts of the city include Mungo National Park, Blue Mountains Area, Lord Howe Island, and the Gondwana Rainforests. Each location offers travelers and tourists the unique opportunity to experience natural beauty, a wide range of leisure activities, and historical places like ancient burial sites.

 

Lamington Day Hike.

Lamington National Park is a sight to behold. The large trees (each tree can be embraced by about 20 people), are the favorites of the some of the jungle lovers, since there are only a few national parks that feature these kinds of vegetation. If you plan to join their tour (will last about 10 hours straight), you will be guided by the experts inside the jungle, the egg rock in Bellbird circuit and try to outdo the recorded feat of 13 people inside the Black Butt tree in Moreton Bay. Don’t forget to bring packed snacks as you can have a picnic with your friends at Mt. Tamborine while watching professional hand gliders take off!

Thredbo is a village that is open all year round. There is always something to do what ever season you plan to visit.

The all year round activity is the Slope ride. In winter, you can curl up in the blankets and ride the slopes. In spring, green trails are open for hikers and bikers. During summer, You can bring your summer backpacks to explore mountain ranges. In autumn, enjoy the crisp bite in the air.

In Thredbo, you can either be on the go and try out all the activities in store or slow down and relax and enjoy the sights.
