Canberra

Australia’s capital Canberra is located within the state of New South Wales. It is sometimes known as the bush capital because of the bushland reserves which are classified as a natural park. The reserves go all the way to the city’s center and extends to more than half of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Canberra is rich with culture and history as many of the countries most important monuments are located in the ACT. Some of these include the Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, and the new National Museum of Australia. Canberra is also 300 km from Sydney and 655 km from Melbourne, both of which are accessible by road, air, or train transport.
